(Mini Review) My Thoughts: Ivory 2-IN-1 Hair and Body Wash

Tuesday, May 21, 2013

I received the Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body in "Refreshing Scent" from Influenster a few weeks ago.

I did use it a couple of times for reviewing purposes but ended up passing it to my sons. The scent is not feminine and while it's not completely masculine it leans towards more of a masculine scent than feminine. If this came in a more feminine scent I'd probably buy to try again but this particular scent I wouldn't buy for myself.

As I mentioned I did pass this on to my sons - ages 11, 9 and 9. I like it for them and would buy it for them since the scent wasn't overly masculine like men's products but it's not a "little kid" scents like current products for children. They're at the age where they don't want "baby" products like Suave for Kids but they're just too young to use a men's product but they need something because they smell sweaty after a long day at school during recess and gym. This was perfect for them so while it didn't work for me it worked well for them.

I did try it on their hair and my only complaint was that it did leave their hair feeling dry, it did on me as well, so I do recommend if you use this on your hair to either use a conditioner after or a leave-in conditioner after you wash your hair.

I would buy this again for them and plan on to once my local Target has it in stock.

Available in Refreshing Scent & Energizing Scent
Retail: $4.99, 24 oz

Tip: Use a conditioner after using this as a shampoo.
Cons: May tangle longer hair after using this as a shampoo and if conditioner is not used.

Best for tween boys.
