Blog of the Week: Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom

Sunday, November 27, 2011

I honestly don't remember how I came across Destany (not her real name err, strike that... I now know two women Destany :D) of Confessions of a Sarcastic Mom but I have to admit I've been "forced to buy" a couple polishes after seeing swatches on her blog. What I actually enjoy are her "Franken" polishes which are basically a mix of different polishes to make a new polish color.

Here's one of her Franken polishes using Wet n Wild Black Creme and Sally Hansen Ice Queen. She calls this Comet Powered.

I loved her PacMan nails since it looked like she had fun doing these.

I'm absolutely jealous she was able to find the Wet 'n' Wild Flirting With Fate polishes... which NONE of the RiteAids in my area carried and supposedly it was a RiteAid exclusive. :(

I still want these polishes for my collection. Especially Love Bites (see image above).

So check her out and also check out her Facebook wall because you'll see her photos there sometimes sooner than you do on her blog. :D

  1. hahahaha Destany is my real name! :)
    Thanks for the shoutout :)

  2. Is it?! I've only met ONE other person with that spelling! Well now I've met two!

    Love your blog Destany! :D
